The Gnàc é Pause project was born in 2013. It was only in June 2015 that the Logis Hotel Gnàc é Pause opened its doors.

A new address to taste!
Originally, an establishment closed in 2009, the Restaurant du Fronton, whose activity had already slowed down considerably for several years. This closure gave the idea to a couple living in the village to acquire and resurrect the place on the basis of a complete renovation.
No less than two years passed between the necessary time for reflection, the months devoted to the financial arrangement and the work carried out by the new owners, and finally, after much effort, the opening on June 12: Gnàc é Pause
Denis Toullec, sales executive in the Landes food industry, Isabelle, his wife, a stay-at-home mother very involved in the Autisme Landes association, changed activities.
The new hotel-restaurant found a name: "Gnàc é Pause(*)", with the invaluable help of Bertrand Sandrez, graphic designer from Saint-Lon, who was responsible for the entire identity visual since the launch of the project.
The help of neighbors and friends will also be omnipresent during the work period because the project was ambitious. Thanks to them, Isabelle and Denis will manage to meet deadlines and budget.
Terrace and tea room
The bistro is open every day, as well as its bar, its tea room and a large welcoming terrace (from 7:00 a.m.). The lunchtime catering includes a daily slate and the current semi-gastronomic menu, which is available for lunch and dinner, with an almost daily change in the dishes and desserts offered.
The hotel operates seven days a week. It has a total of 19 rooms: 11 functional rooms upstairs, 1 family room and a room adapted for people with reduced mobility on the ground floor, (and since 2021, 6 very large rooms comfort including 2 triples and 1 quadruple). On the other hand, a seminar room can accommodate 50 people.
This new address has benefited from the kind help of the Region and the Department as well as the broad friendly support of some local entrepreneurs. This establishment should bring significant added value to local gastronomy. Good news for gourmets…

In order to facilitate your access to our Gnàc é Pause hotel, in St Lon Les Mines. The SNCF stations of Peyrehorade and Dax are respectively only 7 km and 14 km from our establishment. The airports of Pau, 50 minutes away, and Biarritz, 35 minutes away, also make your travel easier. Take advantage of our free private parking on site. This car park is not closed but under video surveillance.
